I do not like to do the same research twice. Whenever I create a bit of code worth keeping, a form I will use again, or a sample worth submitting, well, I keep a copy. In that way when I come across something I have done before, I do not have to do the research again. I can refer to my notes.
For years I kept those notes on a pendrive. Security types do not like pendrives and with good reason. Over the years my pendrive has become less and less welcome. I have decided to publish my notes on my website so I can reference them without the pendrive. Not an original idea, I admit.
Have you ever wanted to resize a form? I have for quite some time. I have made several attempts and reviewed several offerings on the web. None of these were quite what I needed. Then the Muse spoke to me. The pieces fell in place and in 8 hours I put together a proof-of-concept application. I have implemented the methods and it has proved so functional that I have decided to publish it as the first of my notes.
